Solymontes olive oil carries the taste of the sun
and the mountains. The centenarian olive trees grow in the remote mountains
around the village of El Burgo, in the national nature reserve Siera de las Nieves. Not being irrigated, the roots of these ancient trees grow
deep, pulling the minerals out of the rocky
mountains below. The olives contain less water
and produce an intense, deep oil. They are hand
picked and pressed in the family owned maill in El Burgo,
bringing the golden purity of this 8000 year
old tradition to your table. The Oil produced by these trees has won several esteemed international prizes over the last couple of years putting it in a class of its own!
